Justin McNamara is a child and adolescent psychologist with 18 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across school, private, and community settings. He has served as Head of Counselling in two large independent schools. Justin’s clinical focus includes emotional regulation, impulsivity, and 'big'  and complex behaviours. He works extensively with neurodivergent children and adolescents supporting understanding of emotions and social relationships. Justin has a strong interest in early childhood development, as well as helping young people through their primary and secondary school years. He has broad experience in supporting parents and carers. Justin has significant experience in working with boys and young men (5-25year of age), within an inclusive and gender-affirming practice. His approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and systemic frameworks.

Justin has extensive experience working with parents, and has a particular interest in supporting dad of kids and teens. He works with parents, including fathers, who are struggling with parenting and helping them strengthen their understanding and connection with their children.
